A 60 years old man, lives with his two sons and their families in a small rented house. He has four children — two sons and two daughters, all of whom are married. To support their weddings, he took loans, leaving him with financial burdens. Despite these challenges, he continues working as a buffalo caretaker to make ends meet.

Over time, Rampal’s vision deteriorated, making his daily tasks increasingly difficult. On several occasions, he stumbled and fell while working in the fields. Concerned for his safety, he attended one of our eye camps, where he was diagnosed with a cataract in his left eye. He was referred to ICARE Eye Hospital for a detailed examination and subsequent surgery. He is thankful to the support provided; he underwent a successful cataract operation.

Following the surgery, his vision improved significantly and he expressed deep gratitude, sharing how the treatment has not only restored his sight but also renewed his ability to work and support his family.
